DIY: Fun and Cute Peep Flower

April 14, 2014

My first DIY. :)

Basically this is really easy, fun, and cute to make. But unfortunately I ran out of peeps so I only could make the front of the flower and I only had two colors. Also, mine is not that cute due the only colors I could find blue and yellow but it still looks pretty cool.

You can make pretty designs and you can make this anyway you want. This is how I made this:

First thing you need is a Styrofoam ball, toothpicks, and tinfoil.

My Styrofoam ball is a half of a ball so that's kinda the reason I only made the front side and I didn't have enough peeps.

You could use other things instead of toothpicks. The peeps on the side might turn a little bit.

The tinfoil is used to over of the Styrofoam ball so if you want you can eat the peeps after.

You will also need a flower pot and more Styrofoam. You will also need a sturdy rod to put the flower on.

Don't forget the main ingredient PEEPS!

Make sure you have enough and use as many colors as you want.

1. Cover your Styrofoam ball in tinfoil. This is so you can eat your peeps after.

2. Take your sturdy rod and put in the Styrofoam ball. This will make the stem of the flower. You can also paint it if you want.

3. Now, you can create the flower. Take individual toothpicks and stick one through the front of each peep. Try to get the peeps as close as possible so the marshmallow part won't show. I couldn't get the peeps close enough because I didn't have enough. So that's why on my peep flower you can see marshmallow part of the peep.

4. Now, you can put the flower in the flower pot. You can also paint the flower pot also.

5. The final step, decorate it with anything ribbons, rocks, or etc.

  1. This is so sweet, and so cute! It'd make such a nice Easter present. Chic and Alluring Blog
