3 DIY Glitter Jar Ideas

Hello! Today, I'm going to show you three different glitter designs on mason jars. These jars would be great for organizing your pencils or these jars can have LED candles inside of them.

First, I'll show you how to make a heart glitter jar, then I'll show you how to make a jar with paint and glitter on it, and the last DIY glitter jar I'll show you has calligraphy and glitter on the jar

Glitter Jar #1

diy glitter heart jar

What you will need for this design is Mod Podge, a jar, glitter, a paintbrush, paper, and string or twine.

Put a piece of paper under the jar. Then take a paintbrush and paint Mod Podge onto the jar in a shape of a heart.

Before the Mod Podge drys, pour the glitter onto the Mod Podge.

Tap the jar lightly on the paper to get off the excess glitter.

If you want, you can tie a bow on to the jar with twine or string.

Glitter Jar #2

glitter jar with glitter on the bottom and paint on the top of the jar

What you will need for this design is a jar, paint, a paintbrush, glitter, paper, tape, string or twine, and Mod Podge.

First place the top of the tape on the middle of jar. Then paint above the tape. When dry pull the tape away from the paint.

Put a piece of paper under the jar. Paint Mod Podge where you want the glitter to be and pour glitter on to the Mod Podge that's on the jar.

The last thing that you can do is tie a bow with string.

Glitter Jar #3

glitter jar that has a calligraphy on it and glitter on the bottom half of the jar

What you will need for this design is a jar, paint, a paintbrush, glitter, you use can tape if you want but you don't need for this jar, paper, and Mod Podge.

Paint a word on the front of the jar.

When the jar is dry, paint Mod Podge on to the bottom half of the jar and pour glitter onto the jar.

If you want you can tie a bow on to the jar. I chose not to.

and that's it! In the comments down below tell what you think about these glitter jar ideas.

DIY Magazine Holder with Pockets

Hello! Today I'm going to show you how to make this magazine holder that has pockets on the sides.

You will need...

cardstock paper or scrapbook paper
glue
pencil or a pen
glue
scissors
a cereal box

Draw a curve like how a magazine holder would look like with a pen or a pencil on to one side of the box. Then cut on the line you just made with scissors.

Then do the same thing to the other side of the box.

You should have something like this.

DIY Magazine Holder

Then trace the box on to the cardstock paper or scrapbook paper.

Then cut the piece out of the paper and glue it on to the box. Do this to all four sides of the box.

For the pocket, trace around the bottom part of the box on to the cardstock or scrapbook paper with a pen or a pencil and cut it out.

Then glue a line at the bottom and the sides of where the pocket will be so nothing will come out. Don't put any glue in the middle because you wont be able to use is as a pocket.

Then do the same thing to the other side of the box.
