DIY Easter Egg Ideas | DIY Unicorn Egg and Painted Eggs

Here I'm going to show you how to decorate Easter eggs in three different ways. I'll be showing you how to make a unicorn egg and how to make two painted eggs. You can put the eggs in anything that you want I placed mine in a bowl with pink Easter grass.

I used wooden eggs for the all of these DIYs but if you don't have any wooden eggs you can use plastic or real hard boiled or empty eggs instead.

In the comments down below let me know what you think about these eggs. I think all three of these easter egg decorating ideas are cute and my favorite is the unicorn egg.

You can watch this video to learn how to make these:

You'll will need:
a wooden, plastic, hard boiled or a empty egg
gold or another color of cardstock paper
paint
pencil
permanent marker
tiny fabric flowers
glue gun

1. Paint a egg white and then you want to wait for it to dry.

2. To make the horn draw a half circle onto a piece of gold or another color of cardstock paper and then you want to cut the half circle out. You can trace something to make the half circle. I used a bracelet to create mine.

3. Roll the half circle into a cone and then you can hot glue it together.  Be careful because the glue is hot.

4. Glue the horn onto top of the egg and then you can take some tiny fabric flowers and you want to glue as many flowers as you want in the front of the horn. I glued three flowers onto mine.

5. Draw  the face of the unicorn on with a pencil and then you want to go over the pencil with a permanent marker

6. Now for the ears you want to draw and color in two ears onto paper. You can use anything that you want to color in the ears like with paint or with markers.

7. Cut the ears out.

8. Fold the bottom of the ears so it's easier to glue the ears onto the egg.

9. Glue the ears behind the horn and then you're all done.

DIY Painted Egg

You'll will need:
a wooden, plastic, hard boiled or a empty egg
three different colors of paint
dotting tool
paintbrush

1. The first thing you want to do is that you want to paint a egg any color you want and wait for the paint to dry.

2. Paint the egg in half diagonally with a different color of paint. I painted this part of the egg purple but you can paint this part of the egg any color that you want.

3. When the paint is dry you can take a dotting tool or a paintbrush and you want to paint dots on the part of the egg that you just painted with another color of paint and when the paint is dry you're all done with these pretty easy egg. I used gold paint for my dots.

When the paint is dry you're all done.
