1. Measure out your bookmark onto a piece of white cardstock paper with a pencil and a ruler. I made my bookmark to be 5 by 2in but yours can be any size.

2. Cut your bookmark out.

3. Put your bookmark on top of a scrap piece of paper so you can protect your surface for the next step.

4. Take a pen and a ruler and draw stripes in many different directions and make sure you leave room for a face. If you want you can draw the stripes on first with a pencil.

To make it appear the stripes are underneath some of the stripes, don't draw any lines or other stripes over a stripe.

5. Draw a face on with a pencil and then if you need to you to you can add more stripes.

6. Color in the eyes with a marker or you can go over it with a pen. What I did was that I outlined the outer part of the eye with a pen and for the inner part of the eye I used a marker.

7. When you like how you're bookmark looks and when it's dry you can erase any pencil markings.

8. Put a hole at  the top of the bookmark with a hole puncher.

9. Then you can take a piece of ribbon or yarn and fold in half. Then you can take the loop and run it through the hole of the bookmark and pull the ends of the ribbon though the loop and you're all done. I used a piece of white ribbon but you can use whatever you like.

1. Measure out your bookmark onto a piece of green cardstock paper with a pencil and a ruler. Just like the first bookmark I made my bookmark to be 5 by 2 inches but yours can be any size.

2. Cut your bookmark out.

3. Put your bookmark on top of a scrap piece of paper so you can protect your surface and then you want to draw out and color in the face and the hair of frankenstein.

What I did was that I drew on the hair with a pencil first and then I colored it in with a marker. Then I traced something that was small and circular for the eyes with a pencil and then I went over it again with a pen.

After that I colored in the dark part of the eyes with a marker and for the white part of the eyes I painted it in with white paint. If you want to you can also draw some stitches.

4. When you're done and when it's dry you can erase any pencils markings.

5. Put a hole at  the top of the bookmark with a hole puncher.

6. Take a piece of ribbon or yarn and fold in half. Then you can take the loop and run it through the hole of the bookmark and pull the ends of the ribbon though the loop. I used three pieces of black yarn but you could use just one but you can use whatever you like.

If you used yarn and you're having trouble putting the yarn though the hole you can twist it and run it through the hole.

When you're done putting the yarn or ribbon on the bookmark you're all done.

1. Measure out your bookmark onto a piece of orange cardstock paper with a pencil and a ruler and then you want to cut it out. Just like the other bookmarks I made my bookmark to be 5 by 2 in but yours can be any size.

2. Draw on a jack o lantern face with a pencil

3. Color the face in with a marker or with paint.

4. When you like how the bookmark looks and when it's dry you can erase any pencil markings

5. The last thing you can do for this bookmark is that you can put a hole at  the top of the bookmark with a hole puncher

6. Take a piece of ribbon or yarn and fold it in half. Then you can take the loop and run it through the hole of the bookmark and pull the ends of the ribbon though the loop and then you're all done. I used a piece of green ribbon for this bookmark but you can use whatever you like.

and that's how you make all of these halloween bookmarks!
